Mark-Taylor Residential Wins National Award For Website
April 28, 2005
Scottsdale, AZ (April 28, 2005) – Mark-Taylor Residential
has been honored with the National Association of Home Builders
(NAHB) Pillars of the Industry Award for its company website.
The award recognizes the excellence in web design, creativity,
usability and functionality. NAHB honored the “best
of the best” in the multifamily housing industry recently
at a conference in Miami, FL.
The Mark-Taylor Residential website – www.mark-taylor.com
- not only showcases the company’s 21 luxury apartment
communities with great detail, but allows potential residents
immediate access to myriad details about the communities,
the company and even career options.
The Mark-Taylor website is a critical component of the company’s
overall marketing program. “Our site gives us a strategic
advantage to virtually market our properties before construction
has been completed. Prospective residents can see what the
community will look like early on via sophisticated interactive
renderings and secure the unit they’re interested in
which allows us to open the property with a strong lease base
already secured,” said Dale Phillips, President of Mark-Taylor
Residential. “Our goal was to have the best website
in the multifamily housing industry and we are deeply honored
by the NAHB recognition,” he said.
Each property contains both Virtual and Photographic tours
allowing for an online visual tour. The Virtual tour modules
allow visitors to view common areas (e.g. Pools, Fitness Centers,
Clubhouse and Tot-Lots), as well as multiple floor plans providing
360 degree images of bedrooms, kitchens and living spaces.
Website visitors can search by geographic region, number
of bedrooms, price range, floor plans and check availability
in real-time, thanks to an interface called VaultWare. Upon
locating a desired apartment, visitors can complete an online
application for processing. An average of 300 leasing applications
are received each month. And, each community has the capability
of posting special offers to encourage move-ins.
The Mark-Taylor website features a strong resident component
including a referral program, service request submittals and a community newsletter. Residents may
also log-in to a secure area and pay their rent 24/7 via credit
card, electronic check or reoccurring debit via the Resite
online payment system.
Scottsdale, Arizona-based Mark-Taylor is known for developing,
building and managing luxury apartment communities while offering
the highest level of resident service. The company has developed
more than 13,000 apartment units in Arizona. To learn more
