Mark-Taylor Promotes John Carlson to Vice President
Carlson joined Mark-Taylor in 2002; will oversee operations at luxury apartment property management firm.
Scottsdale-Mark-Taylor Residential has promoted John Carlson to vice president, giving him responsibility for overseeing operations at the growing apartment management firm and its growing portfolio of resort-style properties in the Phoenix area.
"Since joining us in 2002, John's unwavering commitment to our company and his career has been instrumental in the growth and success of Mark Taylor," said Dale Phillips, president of Mark-Taylor Residential. "It is no coincidence that John's name and work ethic is attached to many of the new communities that have joined the Mark-Taylor family in the past two years. Looking forward, I am confident that John's determination and pursuit for perfection will continue to enrich our company's culture, while maintaining our goal to grow."
Since 2006, the company's management portfolio has grown from more than 6,800 apartments to more than 10,000 today, in a process in which Carlson has been involved. As an asset manager, he oversaw both existing Mark-Taylor communities and the takeover transformations of rental properties new to Mark-Taylor management.
Carlson is a licensed real estate agent in Arizona and a member of the Arizona Multihousing Association.
